Important Information & Terms & Conditions

• Please arrive at Explorer’s HQ at least 30 minutes before the scheduled encounter time. Late arrivals may be considered a No-show and will not be entitled to any refund.
• Guests (or a parent/legal guardian) are required to sign a waiver form before participating in the encounter.
• General admission to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is required separately and is not included in the encounter ticket price.

Change & Refund Policy

• This ticket is non-refundable. No-shows will be charged at the full price and are not eligible for refunds.
• Changes to reservation date or time may be requested up to 48 hours before the scheduled booking time
• All changes remain subject to availability.

Participation Requirements

• Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate.
• Guests aged 12 to under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 years or older who is also participating in the encounter.
• Guests aged 16 to 17 years old may participate without an accompanying adult if a parent or guardian aged 18+ signs the required waiver.
• Guests are required to bring their own bathing suit/swimwear.
• Wetsuits are mandatory and will be provided for the encounter.
• Participants must hold a valid SCUBA certification card from a recognized diving organization such as PADI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC, or SSI and present it during check-in.
• Guests must have their own medical insurance covering diving activities prior to participation.
• This is not a private experience. Guests will join a shared group experience with a maximum of 8 participants. Capacity limits may change at management discretion.

Other Restrictions

• Guests should not consume alcoholic beverages for at least 12 hours before participating in Sea Dive.
• Guests should not fly or ascend above 300 meters / 1,000 feet within 12 hours after participation.
• Glasses cannot be worn during the dive itself. Guests requiring prescription masks must provide their own. Sunglasses are not permitted (transition lenses acceptable).
• Participants must be able to read and understand English instructions provided by the instructor underwater.
• This encounter is not suitable for guests uncomfortable being surrounded by marine life.
• Guests with certain physical or medical conditions may not be permitted to join the encounter.
• Personal belongings including phones and cameras are not permitted for animal safety reasons.

Safety & Conduct

• All participants must follow the directions and safety instructions provided by authorized Park representatives.
• Unsafe behavior toward marine animals or failure to follow instructions may result in immediate removal from the encounter and/or the Park without refund or compensation.
• Program schedules, encounter components, and animal participation are subject to change without prior notice.
• If the Park cancels the booking, only the encounter ticket amount will be refunded. No additional costs or compensation will be provided.
• Participant fitness, qualifications, and suitability are determined solely at the discretion of the Park’s authorized representatives. If deemed unsuitable, only the encounter ticket cost will be refunded. General admission tickets remain non-refundable.
• Participation in the encounter and entry into marine habitats is entirely at the guest’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Park accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damages sustained.
• The Park reserves the right to deny admission or remove participants from the encounter or Park premises for safety or operational reasons.
